Amazing breakfast options. We were in Bacalar for 3 days and we didn't go anywhere else for breakfast. Loved the atmosphere the servers were too humble and gave amazing recommendations. Very friendly staff and cannot emphasize enough of the food the presentation. Loved this cute and cozy place and you'll get to hear all the birds chirping while u have the breakfast. They have such a natural setting. Absolutely loved it. Recommend this place 100/10
What you look for in a town like this... what you wander the streets for... what you dream of when you when you dream of the name Bacalar is Authenticity, and like many places, it is starting to slip away. Too much money, too much glitz, too much booze. But then you find that perfect balance in a place like Chaca where you can feel the authenticity seeping out of the brightly painted container kitchen like sunshine squeezing out from behind bright clouds. The staff is happy and attentive, the food was wonderful, we had spot on french toast with maple syrup. Perfect color, caramelization, taste, thickness, everything! Loved the staff! Loved the basket chair! Loved finding the place plopped down in the middle of a neighborhood where you would never expect to find such a perfect place, like stumbling on an oasis in the middle of a desert! This is the perfect balance between old and new. The excitement of possibilities without giving in to the cigars and destruction of Cancun. It welcomes the traveler while still offering them something authentic.

Went here for breakfast, wow! Love the atmosphere, the service and food, see PICs. Everything was fresh, made to order and cooked perfectly, my fried egg was the perfect runny! LOVED my dish. The toast is homemade and you can taste it. The fresh orange juice was so amazing, the natural sweetness of the oranges, OMG. The Bloody Mary was different than I am used to but I loved it, had less of a tomato taste, more flavorful and best of all not heavy like some can be. Would I go here again? Absolutely!
Chaca is a great spot for breakfast. I got the huevos rancheros with the mixed sauce red and green and both were really good. The flavors were spot on and had just the right amount of spice. The coffee drinks were also really good and I saw the waffles and they looked amazing. Kinda wish I tried them. The place has a nice vibe and the service was friendly. Definately would go back
